First, I would like to know if you do this show every morning at 12:30 or if that's just on Sundays?

Second, as J.K. Rowling said, "Ah, music. A magic beyond all we do here." I, like you, find my soul's release in music: Playing it, listening to it, singing along with it, and occasionally dancing around my room to it.

Songs and/or bands/individuals that NEVER get old (I have a playlist titled that... ):
Somewhere in the Night and This One's for You by Barry Manilow
The Beatles
Bennie and the Jets by Elton John
Don't Stop Believing by Journey
Everybody by The Backstreet Boys
Skillet
Radiohead
One World and No Ordinary Love by Toby Mac
She's Not There by the Zombies
Your Song by Elton John or from Moulin Rouge (Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman) (either recording is good)
Take On Me by a-Ha
Unchained Melody by The Righteous Brothers
The Stroke by Billie Squire
Mickey by Toni Basil
Leader of the Pack by the Shangri-Las
Hello Muddah, Hello Fuddah! by Allan Sherman
Styx
Katy Perry
Van Morrison
Beyoncé

This list could literally go on forever so I'm going to stop here and just say that these are just a few (a few GREAT ones at that!).

:) Enjoy looking up the ones you've never heard of (if there are any).

I love to listen to everything, but when asked I usually just list the most played artists in my iTunes. They are (in order):
1-The Beatles
2-Regina Spektor
3-The Decemberists
4-Mumford and Sons
5-Matt and Kim

All my favorites, I just can't help myself. =)

Think about all the crackpots and wierdos from christian backgrounds that have committed crimes in the name of God. Was christianity ever blamed? No. But every time a Muslim commits a crime it is a strike against Islam. Why this double standard? I think most people can see that it is just plain racism.

Having worked very near this site about 30 years ago on Park Place in NYC, I have a question to pose to the political right that is exploiting this "Ground Zero Mosque." Just how close is too close, how far is far enough? As I understand it, this proposed community center is 2 blocks away from ground zero. Would 3 blocks be far enough? 4? 5? 10? Or is there no distance that satisfies the desire to hate and discriminate for political purposes and fear mongering?
